Competence Area II concedes grant for a research stay of Sandra León

Leonce Röth and André Kaiser receive a grant from the Competence Area II - Social and Economic Behvior – in order to finance a one month research stay  of Sandra León (University of York). Sandra León will be at the University of Cologne during April and supports the research project “Decentralization and Electoral Geographies” funded by the DFG. Sandra León will bring her competence on accountability chains in multi-level systems to the project. Accordingly, we assess the relationship between decentralization causing an enlarged policy space, potentially leading to fragmented political landscapes.

Sandra León will give a speech about her research agenda on 18th of April (17.45-19.15, S100 IBW) as well as a seminar for master and doctoral students (Auditing federalism. The virtues and perils of decentralized governance; applications via Klips / Klips 2.0
